August 15, 2017I have discovered that F8 (Delete) in Windows 7 deletes but doesn't send the file/folder to the Recycle Bin. The same is true when a file is deleted via Synchronization. As I remember, this was not the case in earlier versions. I have WinNc Options > Settings "Delete to recyclebin (allow undo)" turned on. In addition, the "Allow undo" box is checked in the Delete and Synchronize dialogue screens. [I am referring to the F8 icon on the bottom (task/tool)bar, where all of the other Fx icons are.]
However, F8 (Delete) in Windows 10 and Vista does send the file/folder to the Recycle Bin. Is this a bug? Or is there some other setting that I should be paying attention to? As far as I can tell, I have the same settings in WinNc, no matter whether it executes in Windows 7, Windows 10, or Vista.
I'd sure like to solve this problem. I've already lost some files.

So, is there an answer to this question??? I see that you have answered other more recent questions. This question was asked a month ago. Are you aware that F8/Delete in WinNc 7.8.0.0 when executing on a Windows 7 machine does not delete to the Recycle Bin, even though the switch for this is turned on? Are you also aware that in contrast to executing on a Windows 7 machine, when executing on a Vista machine or a Windows 10 machine, F8/Delete DOES what is is supposed to do, i.e., it does delete to the Recycle Bin?
