When is WinNc 7.8.0.0 going to be updated with a new Beta version? The last one was in April, 2017. I would REALLY like to have the " F8/Delete to Recycle bin " working on my Windows 7 machine. As it is now, it does not delete to the Recycle bin nor do any of the other deletions that WinNc does in any of its other operations, even though the switches to delete to the Recycle bin are on. This is when it executes on a Windows 7 machine. It DOES delete to the recycle bin in Vista and in Windows 10.
So something needs to be fixed here!! Please.

The recycle bin is operated by Windows. WinNc only gives the command to delete the files 'with undo option enabled'. Windows takes care of the rest.

replied 9 years ago So, that means that “delete with undo” is restricted to work only un-remotely, right? It took me a long time to figure that out.
Suggestion: How about a caveat posted where one sets the option for “delete with undo”??

Well, I figured out why F8 does not delete to the Recycle bin or do any of the other operations that are supposed to delete to the recycle bin on my Windows 7 machine. The reason is that even though WinNc is executing on my Windows 7 machine, it is accessing all of the Windows 7 directories through a network (e.g.\\username-PC\Users\username\Desktop and not through C:\Users\username\Desktop). I guess that it stands to reason that files that are remotely deleted would NOT end up in the recycle bin of the machine from which they were deleted, even if WinNc is executing from that machine. Or could WinNc be changed so that it DOES delete to the Recycle bin when WinNc is executing from the machine, even if the access to its directories is via a remote path?
