When I double click a mp3 file from WinNC, default mp3 player does not play it immediately. In most cases, a 30-seconds delay occurs. This doesn't happen when I double click the file using the Window's File Explorer. Is there a solution for this problem?

Not sure I can help. What is your default mp3 player? Mine is set to Groove Music player from the Microsoft Store (Freeware) and pops right up. Also, have you tried the built-in mp3 player under Panel, Quick View (Alt+F3)? You can also find the icon on the Media toolbar under WinNc Options, Visual features, Toolbars. When using this feature, you only have to highlight the filename and it should play. Double-click will access your player associated with mp3.
